Here is some information updates on the Magic Exhibit on tour since 2000 to 2008.
Magic: The Science Of Illusion opens April 2nd at the Science Museum of Minnesota in St. Paul, Minnesota. The $3.2 –million interactive experience was funded in part by the National Science Foundation and was created by the California Science Center in Los Angeles, where it debuted July 2000 through February 2001.
Under the banner of “Illusions: More Than A Simple Trick,” custom-designed effects are performed on video by Goldfinger & Dove, and afterwards museum guests are invited behind the scenes to learn of the “principles and science of visual illusion.” Since its premiere fun in Los Angeles, the 8,000 square-foot exhibit has sojourned six months at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia and another six months at the Ft. Worth Museum of Science & History in Texas. After the show closed August 25th in St. Paul, it moved on to the Center of Science & Industry in Columbus, Ohio (October 5 - February 23rd, 2003), and then to the Museum of Science in Boston (September 27th, 2003 - February 8th, 2004).
